RoboCup Virtual Robots - Wireless Simulation Server

 

Description

As proposed earlier this year on the Virtual Robots Mailing List, Jacobs University has developed a new Wireless Simulation Server. The purpose of this server is to roughly simulate Wireless LAN traffic within the USARSim worlds.

Features:

  • TCP-based connection model
  • GUI for monitoring and debugging connections
  • Simple control interface

Starting from version 0.4.rc3, the code is available from the usarsim cvs repository in Tools/WSS.

A Windows Binary is available. You may browse the code here. If you do not have Visual Studio 2008 installed, please use the redistributable package for components needed by the Windows Binary.

Qt, version 4.5.0 or higher is required to compile this code.
